Dear young person,
Today I woke up with a very heart, and my prayer goes out to young people, trying to figure this life thing out.
Did you imagine your life to be at a certain point by now, and your reality hasn’t quite caught up.
To those of you still in school, you may be struggling or excelling, maybe you got to finish your degree, or maybe you’ve already dropped out.
To those of you battling with unemployment, and to those gainfully employed, maybe employed but unhappy, or maybe you’re over worked and underpaid, some of you arecarving out your own path, defying the norms and others are looking and laughing at you.
To those of you who ventured out and started a business, here’s to businesses that are thriving and those that are struggling.
To those of you still living under your parents roof, and those of you who have moved out of the house.
To those consistently giving and are never replenished, and to those consistently taking but can’t give cause they are broken.
To those of you who have lost faith in God due to your turmoil, and those who have allowed their pain drive them into the arms of God.
To those with unplanned pregnancies, and those who had abortions.
To those who chose to keep their babies and to those who feel guilty for not being able to give their children the best things in life.
To those feeling trapped and consistently seeking an escape, through sleep, sex, booze, parties or drugs.
To those of you who cry yourself to bed, and to those who’ve run out of tears.
To those who started all over, and seem to have fallen behind with life.
To those desiring relationships, and those in unhealthy relationships.
To the ones who feel undeserving of love, and the ones who are in healthy loving relationships.
To those of you whom your parents are proud of, and to those of you who have constrained relationships with your parents and family members.
To those with absent parents, and to those who’ve lost their parents.
To those who were raped, molested, abused, violated, and are still struggling with guilt and shame.
To those who struggle to get out the bed every morning.
To those who are constantly trying to keep their head above the water, and to those who wake up happy and ready to take on life.
To those who feel they have blown all their chances, and to those who feel like they can’t afford to fail again.
To those who can’t afford to fall apart, because they have to be strong for everyone else.
To those who can’t afford to fail, because everyone is dependent on them.
To those of you struggling with illness or disease and to those who are healthy.
To those who are a shadow of themselves.
To those who have been shattered to pieces.
To those who have lost friendships because they screwed things up, and those who lost friendships because they were betrayed.
To those who don’t fit in anymore.
To those who have been called ugly, and those who feel like a waste.
To those unhappy in their bodies, and to those happy in their bodies.
To those broke as **** and to those with accounts full of money,
To all your plans that failed have time and time again,
To all your prayers that are still unanswered,
You many be wondering why I’m addressing everyone in the spectrum, everyone who may seem to have it and those who seem to not, it’s because just because we think one is winning in an area of their lives doesn’t mean they are winning in all areas. Just cause you think someone seems good, doesn’t mean they really are.
I know the world yells “be thankful” “be strong” “you’ll be okay” “it’s all part of the process” “press on”
I just want you to know it’s okay to be hurting, it’s normal to be discouraged, please talk to someone, please accept help, please don’t keep doing life alone. You can share your burden with me, feel free to leave your prayer requests @ kukuafanga@gmail.com
So here’s to you young person, I see you, I’ve been you, I AM YOU and most of all I LOVE YOU.

Love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️
